1. Purpose

These terms govern the charter of pleasure craft (yachts, boats) and related services offered by Yacht In. Any booking implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.

2. Nature of the service

3. Booking and quote

Each request leads to a personalised quote stating the vessel, dates, indicative itinerary, included services and price. The booking becomes firm upon the client's written agreement and payment of the deposit.

4. Prices

Prices are in euros. They include [TO BE COMPLETED] and exclude [TO BE COMPLETED: fuel, port fees, provisioning, extras…] unless otherwise stated in the quote.

5. Payment and deposit

A deposit of [TO BE COMPLETED: %] of the total is required at booking; the balance is due [TO BE COMPLETED] before departure. Accepted payment methods: [TO BE COMPLETED].

6. Security deposit

A security deposit of [TO BE COMPLETED] may be requested before boarding to cover any damage or breach. It is returned after the vessel is handed back in good condition.

7. Cancellation and changes

[TO BE COMPLETED: client cancellation scale by notice period.] If Yacht In cancels (vessel unavailability, safety), the client is refunded the amounts paid, with no further compensation.

8. Right of withdrawal

Under French consumer law (article L. 221-28), the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date or period. [To be validated by the lawyer.]

9. Yacht In obligations

Yacht In provides a vessel matching the description, in good working and safety condition, with the required on-board documents and equipment.

10. Client obligations

The client undertakes to use the vessel reasonably, to comply with maritime regulations and safety instructions, not to sub-charter, and — for bareboat charters — to hold the required qualifications.

11. Insurance

The vessel is covered by [TO BE COMPLETED] insurance. Personal belongings and certain risks remain the client's responsibility. Excess: [TO BE COMPLETED].

12. Liability and safety

Yacht In cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure, weather making navigation unsafe, or client fault. The itinerary may be changed or shortened for safety or weather reasons without entitling the client to compensation.

13. Personal data

Data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.

14. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint may be sent to contact@yachtin.fr. Consumer clients may use a consumer mediator free of charge: [TO BE COMPLETED].

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
